The April Telcon was cancelled, and in it's place
there will be a local meeting April 16th in Ann Arbor, MI. We will be meeting at
5 pm at Damon's located at 3150 Boardwalk St. All questions may be
directed to Dave Nash.
Reports are already coming in on the experiences from the Congressional visits Friday. Anyone who attended the Workshop and wants to share their experience regarding their Congressional visit, send it to the Webmaster, and it will be posted for all to see.
Mike Gonzales (Region IV - FFDO- AZ) has reported:
"Sean [Henderson] did very well this morning with Stabenow's staffer for his first meeting. Cali Fox was very attentive and interested in continued communications regarding the reauthorization bill plus concerns I brought up over ag flying/crop dusting operations in MI."
Mark Dunlap says:
"The visit I did with Dave Nash went very well. Dave did a great job and I just tried to support him with facts and statistics for staffing and contract dispute resolution. We met with district director Ryan Boeskool who will pass info on to DC transportation staffer. He remained attentive for 45 minutes, seemed interested and took some notes.
CJ Koan shared:
Her visit with Kildee went exceptionally well. They met with the district director who was very knowledgeable of transportation issues, and they got 45 minutes. Info is planned to be passed on to DC transportation staffer.
A PASS legislative workshop is scheduled for October 2 and 3 in Lansing, Michigan. The workshop will take place on October 2nd. Congressional visits will be held the following day, October 3rd.

David Nash (YIPSSC) traveled to Pittsburgh's Labor Day Parade to represent MW1 in the PASS group. Chapter NE3 were wonderful hosts and arranged a fabulous Picnic afterwards. A great time was had by all! Mark Dunlap took some great shots of the festivities.
